Pātai?

Browse this site to get a ‘visual’ on me, Andy, and my home-based counselling space in Pyes Pa, Tauranga.

Easy street parking is available. When you arrive please knock as the door will be locked for safety. Bookings are set so that I have space in between clients, so you should not encounter anyone going out as you are coming in!

There is a wheelchair friendly entrance for those who require it. The house is a normal house, with no ‘counselling’ signage outside, for your privacy.

When you visit, I’ll offer you some water or tea or coffee to help you settle in.

The seats are comfy and the space is private. There are items available to hold and fidget with, if you like. You can bring a support person with you if you feel more comfortable.

  • Counselling is a collaborative process. You are in charge of what you choose to discuss, what your goals might be, what actions you may like to take.

Counselling appointments are for one hour. We will plan on 8 or fewer sessions and re-evaluate as we go along. You can visit weekly, fortnightly or even monthly, and times can be either set on a schedule or booked as we go along.
